Need to install oracle 10g
I have rp3410,11iv2 oracle 9i is curently running... and want to install 10g
C.03.70 HP aC++ is also installed .No C compiler is installed . and "what cc_bundled " is giving following output

what more do i need to do to install ora 10g..

You need to check for the patch requirements of Oracle10g. The readme or install guide of Oracle10g should show you all the requirements.

Your oracle manual should tell you about all the requirements. Otherwise, if you just start the install, it will give you warnings saying that these products/patches are required & these kernel parameters need to be modified. You can stop the install at that phase & then install all the patches & modify the kernel parameters.
This is a very crude way of doing it. I would suggest you do this method only if you cant find any requirements in your oracle manual.
