Need web performance tool

I am trying to find a tool to measure Internet web-related performance for various web enabled applications we have. I'm especially interested in such items as response times, possible causes of delayed responses, etc., as experienced by a client on the Internet.
Our applications use a significant amount of server side java, primarily through use of Weblogic app server, if that matters.

Here's 153 mostly free or low cost programs but you need Perl and they mostly do hit stats.

Also:

http://www.perl.com/CPAN/scripts/Web/index.html

Look at htmldebug and timefetch.

PureLoad or PureAgent:

is interesting as is:

Then if you have very DEEP pockets you can look at End2End from NetIQ - only $25000 and up!

Re: Need web performance tool

Hi ! Leon ,

If u want to monitor the Response to the Weblogic Server , you can install HP-jmeter which is available freely on the HP site or install glance which will help u in configuring kernel paramters for optimal performance of the server.

If you want to have good performance for weblogic application server then increase the tcp paramters - os level and configure the paramters in weblogic.properties file on weblogic server.

Have fun,
