Netconf-file
Hi :-)
HP-UX 10.20 - Does anyone have a script that I can use to edit/delete entrys in my netconf-file, that automatically updates the other entrys? Tired of using the manual method..

Re: Netconf-file
Hi,
I've never had cause to script anything to do with netconf, it's not a file that tends to get changed too often - apart from the addition of static routes on some servers.
The script set_parms will configure it for you but it does have its limitations, I prefer the manual method.
Why do you have to keep changing it?
Regards,
John

Nice of you to answer a blond girligirl John, but this is really a problem. Whish we could use SAM, but we obviosly can't.. About 20 of our departments are sold (whish to delete) and other have changed address, so I have to do some big changes in the netconf-file.. Need a script, HELP!!!

Re: Netconf-file
Come on it's not that big a file ;-)
Are you referring to amending the list of static routes?
If you'd like to post your netconf file and what needs to be changed then I'd be happy to have a look at it for you.
Regards,
John
