So far I have tried installing both netscape 7.0 & Mozilla with swinstall. I already have Gnome. I don't really know what anyt of these packages do but I'm assuming Gnome is the back end and either mozilla or netscape are the front end? Since installing this software I am left stumped as I have tried to run what I believed to be the executable. I.E. /opt/mozilla/mozilla-bin. All I get when trying to run this is an error. I'm using CDE with an FXE graphics card 11.i on a C3600 workstation. If anyone can give me any further input as I'm not an administrator so don't really know where to go from here. I really need to try to get internet running on my machine soon though as I have firmware to download... Thanks for any help...

SolutionBut do you really want to download straight to your workstation? I prefer downloading to PC then copying to unix via ftp.

Re: Netscape or Mozilla on HPUX 11.i
copying the updates over is a missoin so I'd prefer to access them direct if and when I need them... We regularly see HVD libraries and don't have an LVD - HVD converter, so can't use a PC.
cheers...

Re: Netscape or Mozilla on HPUX 11.i
What error do you get? Is your $DISPLAY set properly? I use "/opt/mozilla/mozilla &" to fire off mozilla and "/opt/netscape/netscape" for netscape.

Re: Netscape or Mozilla on HPUX 11.i
I tried /opt/mozilla/mozilla and it worked fine.
I read on the HP website that that mozilla-bin was the executable. Thats where I was going wrong.
/opt/mozilla/mozilla is the script to run it.
Thanks for all your help! :)
