Nettl usage

I would like to log network activity to a workstation functioning as an application server. It is running HP-UX 10.20 with a 100 megabit network card. What command(s) and parameters will give me a readable output.

Re: Nettl usage

Hi:

If you are not aware, look at 'nettladm' do a man 1M nettladm. You will note from the man page: "The nettladm command starts a menu-driven program that makes it easy to perform network tracing and logging tasks with only limited specialized knowledge of HP-UX. nettladm is a self-guided tool, and context-sensitive help is available at any point by pressing the f1 function key."

Lots of stats are always being logged on your network commands without running nettladm. Take a look at netstat -i and lanadmin.
