Hi,
I have 3 tape libraries connected to HP-UX box via 1 fc switch. Our SAN Team is going to put second fc switch to SAN, and then the libraries will be connected via 2 fc switch (HPUX - 1stFCswitch - 2ndFSswitch - tape libraries).
I would like the device files will stay the same. How can i do this?

Shalom,
First for the device files to be the same you will need to have the devices on the same scsi id. You seem to have that covered.
You will need to do this:
http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-90904/B2355-90904.pdf
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=750475
The second link contains links to docs that you may need.
You are performing a procedure called renumber instance.
