new fc60 is not visable

Hi,
We have a new server with an FC60 array and 2 SC10's fully loaded.
HP installed the equipment and the array controller and disks are powered up - but not visable from ioscan.
The array manager software does not start on boot.
HPARAMGR.INFO contains the following message
Sat Apr 22 11:32:07 EDT 2006
No disk array devices were detected.
To disable starting the disk array daemons
set HPARAMGR_START_STOP=0 in /etc/rc.config.d/hparamgr.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Patti

Re: new fc60 is not visable

set HPARAMGR_START_STOP=1 and try starting software daemon. Once started try doing ioscan and check.

Re: new fc60 is not visable

It is set to 1 -
The problem is that is fails to start because it does not think I have an array on the system.
The log is suggesting setting to 0 so that is does not try to start the array manager.

Why would my system not see the new arrary -
ioscan -fnC disk does not show the controllers.

Re: new fc60 is not visable

What if you just do ioscan -fn

Getting unclaimed/unknown - looking like the drivers were not installed, talking to support now.
