New to Itanium - how to boot from CD

We've just got in 2 x rx2620 servers. One of them has developed a problem with the fibre cards it would seem. I've tried to boot to single user mode but the crash happens before it manages even to load that. Therefore, I wanted to try rebuilding the server using the Foundation CD. However, I'm at a loss as to how I boot from CD. I've tried the usual pa-risc way of doing things and when running "search", I'm giving 2 devices listed as CDROM (the server actually has a DVDROM). Any ideas anyone?

Yvonne,

I don't have any Itanium systems but, according to the "Installation and Update Guide" for 11i v2, you select EFI Shell from the boot menu, then select the DVD device (for example, fs1:). If you don't see the DVD device, run the map command to list all device names.

Thanks everyone for your help, it turns out that the motherboard has a fault on the server after all which is why I had all the intial problems anyway.
