Hi,
I have News server running on HP-UX, the problem is, lot of messages stuck in incoming floder and they are not getting posted. How to manually flush these messages such that they get posted on news server
regards
chakri

Solution
Assuming INN.
For a normal peer-to-peer (IHAVE) connection, the articles should travel via the network (NNTP), not via files in in.coming.
For inserting articles from files in in.coming, see the (INN) rnews(1) manual page.
Normally, "rnews -U" ("${RNEWS} -U") is run from news.daily(8), just in case there is stuff there.
General:
While there may be News admins in this forum (I happen to be one), it is probably best to post your questions to the Usenet Newsgroup news.software.nntp. If you can not post with your server, you can use Google Groups (<>).
