NFS again
Hi all,
Patrick and Harry helped out last time concerning how to force HP 11.00 to use nfs version2.
The manual entry works but i cannot see how to get this into /etc/fstab.
Can anyone advise the format and syntax to enable the remount at reboot?
Our system is forced to reboot after backup for the application.
As you can probably tell I am a basic administrator of this system at a level of checking rather than configuring.
Many thanks,
Bob Briggs

Re: NFS again
Hi all,
Thanks for the response.
I have added
aserver:/adir /adir nfs rw,vers=2 0 0
and it was how to place the options seperated by commas, so rw,vers=2, etc,etc
Thanks again for all the help,
Bob Briggs

Re: NFS again
Bob if you get a chance to assign points to the response, that would be appreciated. Thanks. Brian Hackley
