Does win2k have NFS services available? If so you need to install / configure them and start them.

Re: NFS HP-UX to Win2k

It's possible, I've been playing with Windows Services for Unix (SFU). It does require some planning on how userids on Windows map to the userids on HPUX.

SFU does have a service that runs on a domain controller (active directory) that does the userid translations.

Hope this helps...

Re: NFS HP-UX to Win2k

Samba (CIFS/9000) is one option and is freely available for HP-UX but you can also use Omni-NFS from www.xlink.com if you truly want NFS.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.
