NFS server not responding

I have a problem.....(well actually I have more than one but we won't go into that here!!)
I am running HP UX 11.0 on an Lclass 9000
After mounting an Oracle CD using pfs_mount, when I want to unmount the cd drive I type pfs_umount /SD_CDROM and I get this message NFS server ***** not responding still trying..which goes on forever. When I see what pfs process are running only the pfs_umount is running, I try to kill it but it wont die!! The only way I can get the cdrom unmounted it to reboot the server.....
Any help gladdly appreciated.....

Re: NFS server not responding

this is a known bug, and it has no fix! It hapenned to me some times...
The best I can do is advise you to install the patch PHCO_16438 for HP-UX 11 or PHCO_15453 for HP-UX 10.20

and don't let the CD mounted for a long period of time!!! Sometimes it's the cause of those kind of problems!

good luck.
