ni0 and ni1
I would like to know what are these interfaces "ni0" and "ni1" on my UNIX - series 800, 10.20 and how can I assign an IP address to them.Can You give me some links for learning some on this topic?

These interfaces are used by the srial line protocols like SLIP and PPP.
More info can find for example in the HP manual: "Installing and Administering PPP".
Do not know if there are new versions of this manual, I used in the past the version from 1997.

ni0,ni1 are only avail on 10.20 and prior OS for use with SLIP. man ppl for more details,
or the manual "Using Serial Line IP Protocols"

PPP is available in 11.0 and beyond, only, but it uses a different interface (du0 I believe).
