If Your Switch Works on Auto Neg , then Turn on the Auto Neg in the Lanadmin , it 'll neg to the 100mb , if the switch is on 100mbps turn offthe Auto Neg in the Lanadmin and select the 100 mp ption with full duplex ..

Hi ,

AS mentioned by other guys lanadmin wont set any the duplex mode permanent it will lose the settings once the machine got rebooted. Most of the LAN card has a configuration file in /etc/rc.config.d directory.

Like btlan6 driver uses hpsppci100conf file. The configuration information will be there in this file.
