NIC SPEED

Thanks for your help on my previous posting.
Here is my lanadmin display:

PPA Number = 1
Description = lan1 Hewlett-Packard LAN Interface Hw Rev 0
Type (value) = ethernet-csmacd(6)
MTU Size = 1500
Speed = 10000000
Station Address = 0x60b0808d33
Administration Status (value) = up(1)
Operation Status (value) = up(1)
Last Change = 100
Inbound Octets = 2799286416
Inbound Unicast Packets = 34100007
Inbound Non-Unicast Packets = 17396857
Inbound Discards = 0
Inbound Errors = 2248
Inbound Unknown Protocols = 11698909
Outbound Octets = 2197198616
Outbound Unicast Packets = 14502867
Outbound Non-Unicast Packets = 2421
Outbound Discards = 83
Outbound Errors = 0
Outbound Queue Length = 0
Specific = 655367

I tried to run:

lanadmin -X 100FD 1

Returned error:
Error: This option is not supported for this hardware.

Could it be that I have a NIC that only supports 10mb?

Here is the lanscan and ioscan -fnC lan

Re: NIC SPEED

Robert,

Is this the K570 you were working on earlier?

Re: NIC SPEED

That lanadmin menu looked familiar...it has the same readout as the nic on my workstation. i.e. a 10mb.

Re: NIC SPEED

If it is the K570 (and if I recall correctly), the lan port on the core I/O board is 10BaseT. If you want to go 100, you have to install another card.
