NIS/LDAP Gateway and attributemap

In the LDAP-UX client, I can set the attributemap field in a profile to map fields to different attributes of an object. I.e
password:homedirectory=someotherattribute

Is it possible to do the same for the NIS/LDAP Gateway? At the moment I don't see how I can have 'someotherattribute' returned as the homedirectory in yp maps.

No, the NIS/LDAP Gateway doesn't support attribute mapping. It doesn't use the profile mechanism that allows LDAP-UX to map attributes.
