nisplus client configuration
Hi,
I try to configure a HP-UX 11.i Workstation as NIS+ Client, after the required reboot I can't connect to the NIS+ Server ( using nisls or similar ).
I can ping the Server, the Server is able to serve himself.
In my opinion the client doesn't try to connect to the server.
If I try an tcpdump on the Lan interface of the Server or the Client I can't see any traffic while I try an nisls.
Do you have an idea? What can be wrong?
Thanks for your help
jan

Re: nisplus client configuration
Jan,
From what you indicated, I'd
check permissions of /var/nis directory they need to be 755. If that does not help then tusc the nisls or nisdefaults -v
Hope that helps,
