no job control in this shell.

My platform is HP-UX 11.00 and the shell I'm using is csh. Upon starting some non-HP processes, I get this error message 'no job control in this shell'. Just started seeing this message early this week. What could be causing this. There is some software development on my system. Could a poorly written software be a cause of this error message?

Check those non-HP programs are they are available(I mean still able to execute) and check the paths also.
