No Pseudo names seen for the paths using powerpath.

Hi,
I have installed emc powerpath on HP 11.23 and 11.31 machines.
powermt display dev=all shows me the details of the paths but the pseudo name is not seen.
Am I missing something.

bash-2.05# powermt display dev=all

Owner: default=SP A, current=SP A

Re: No Pseudo names seen for the paths using powerpath.

I guess you're learned how PowerPath works on some other system architecture (Solaris, Linux?) and are trying to apply this knowledge to HP-UX.

PowerPath does not use pseudo names in HP-UX.

Instead, it hooks into the OS and re-directs disk I/O so that using any one disk device is the equivalent of using all the active paths of that particular disk together.
