Non-uniform connections detected

Hallo guys,
i have a problem with my cluster.
I have 5 node with S.G. 11.15 without a cluster lock or quorum server, with 4 lan for any system.
When i run cmruncl i have this message in syslog:
lan_x can comunicate with server_y lan_y over subnet xxxx on IP level but not on the DLPI level. here is possibly a network component between the two interfaces
that does not allow any data link level traffic through, which violates
a Serviceguard requirement ... this for all 5 server on the lan 192.168.2.x.
help me

Re: Non-uniform connections detected

It is telling you that there is something in your network infrastructeure that is preventing dlpi level communicatiuons across that subnet.
Get your network hardawre and configurations checked up. Has someone made a change on a switch port, etc.

BTW, SG 11.15 is no longer supported, consider updating your SG version

Re: Non-uniform connections detected

The problem is on the lan 192.168.2.x.
It is defined STATIONARY ... Is it a problem?

Re: Non-uniform connections detected

Hi gigiz,
maybe there is a dirty configuration for your stby lan; check if the command "ifconfig lanx" report an output like this for the standby lan:

inet 0.0.0.0 netmask 0

if the netmask is different (es. ffffffff) run the "ifconfig unplumb lanx".

Also check in your /etc/rc.config.d/netconf file that there isn't any entry for this stby lan.

Ciao
