Not able to boot HP-UX system
Hi,
I am not able to boot one of my HP-UX server. Here I attached two text files.(SL log files) in zip.
hpsya.txt has error and current boot log files. hpsya1.txt has last boot log.
Can anyone pls tell me whether the problem is in HDD or SCSI controller ?
Thanks in advance
GSB

Re: Not able to boot HP-UX system
Shalom,
Could be either.
Its definitely a bad disk, but its impossible to tell most of the time whether thats caused by the controller or the disk itself.
Since it only appears to be one disk, its likely the disk itself.

Re: Not able to boot HP-UX system
Hi Steven,
Thanks for the reply.
Is there any built-in HP Diagnostic tools with HP-UX which I can use in another system to diagnose problem in these two log files.
