Hi Admins
I have a B class machine [9000/785/B2600] and i installed 11.23 LR on that machine. After the installation when i try to invoke "KCWEB , Partition Manager" I couldn't see/get anything.
So i tried /usr/sbin/kcweb in the command line but i got the following error message
# /usr/sbin/kcweb
Attempting to start server...
Server already running on correct port.
Looking for a usable running browser...
Looking for a usable browser to start...
SECURITY WARNING: starting a browser in the current environment
may open you to security risks. This is the case when the
X Server and the browser are on different systems. Since kcweb
cannot guarantee a secure browser is available, you may:
. Paste the URL https://starwar.india.hp.com:1188/casey/top.cgi
into a browser.
. Close any non-local instances of your browser on icnwh201.india.hp.com
and rerun kcweb.
. Use kcweb with the "-F" (force) option.
There is either one or more instances of your browser running on
icnwh201.india.hp.com that is not local, or a browser cannot
be started in a secure mode because the X Server is not on
the same machine as the display variable.

If for some reason the browser did not start you can
use kcweb by manually starting a browser and pasting the URL
https://hpcvl021.india.hp.com:1188/casey/login.cgi
into the browser.
# /usr/lib/dld.sl: Can't find path for shared library: libintl.sl.1
/usr/lib/dld.sl: No such file or directory
/opt/mozilla/run-mozilla.sh[36]: 3231 Abort(coredump)
Can any body help me in this reagard.
My objective is to improve the performance of the machine. And tune the Kernal for this machine also. Because its going to be IG-UX, web server, Critical server too.
Also pls convey what things should i concentrate for improving the performance.
Thanks

Re: Not able to invoke kcweb & Partition Manager through SAM
Can you locate the library on your system.
On mine it is loaded into /opt/opt/gnome/lib.
If you can locate library file then just add the path of the library file to the SHLIB_PATH.
