NTP effect on serviceguard

Dear Friends,

I would like to know that if i go for NTP server and client implementation will any effect comes on servicegaurd i.e on heartbeat or any releted to it ? Pl. all expertes guide me.

Hi,

I haven't seen any effect from NTP server on SG packages.
There is a question when you use one of SG cluster machines as NTP server. In that case we build NTP server package.

There is no effect, and in fact it is RECOMMENDED that Serviceguard clusters should keep time using NTP.
