NTP issues on cluster enviroment
When I tried to start up NTP Server on a server with virtual interfaces it didn´t start and this message appears on the syslog:
Apr 27 11:28:44 sb1pcd03 xntpd[23524]: xntpd version 3.5f: Tue Jun 25 12:40:32 IST 2002 PHNE_27223
Apr 27 11:28:44 sb1pcd03 xntpd[23524]: tickadj = 625, tick = 10000, tvu_maxslew = 61875
Apr 27 11:28:44 sb1pcd03 xntpd[23524]: precision = 6 usec
Apr 27 11:28:44 sb1pcd03 xntpd[23524]: bind() fd 15, family 2, port 123, addr 87a983ff, in_classd=0 flags=0 fails: Address already in use
Any info about this?
Regards,
Sebastian

Re: NTP issues on cluster enviroment
It seems that ntp is already listening on that interface. Check with netstat -an.
Por que hacerlo dificil si es posible hacerlo facil? - Why do it the hard way, when you can do it the easy way?

Re: NTP issues on cluster enviroment
I´ve already checked that, but nothing appears on that port.
