Omnirpt --How to use rptgroup option

I could not find any useful info in the man pages .It gives the syntax to use the rptgroup option buth it has not mentioned about how to i create a report group .
Have a requirments to collate individual reports like ...backup_statistics,backup_errors ...db_sixe into a report group which i can run from cron ,
