OPS installation query

Hi all
I'm trying to set-up OPS with two R-class servers HP-UX 11.00/service guard OPS BUNDLE A.11.08.I've a (shared) VG-LUN in Model 12H Diskarray.I want to create and use raw lvol devices in the above said LUN for my database parallel writes from both the servers.I've successfully created the cluster and a VG in the specified LUN with required lvols.Now my problem is to activate the above said shared VG on both the machines.How can this be done?if i do a "vgchange -a s vg_ops" on both the machines (after starting the cluster by "cmruncl"),the VG gets activated in shared mode (as "server" in one machine and as "client" in other machine respectively).How can i do this VG activation automatically when cluster starts.As such there is no package configured in my machine.Should I create a package and do a "cmapplyconf -P ".?If so,how can I activate a shared VG using "-a s" option and in whcih file,should i mention this string?Refering to the package template file,i couldn't see a place where i can give the vg's name for activating in "-a s" option.

Expecting your valuable information for the implementation.
Thanks in advance
Jaik

Re: OPS installation query

Well you set this up in the OPS package control script, as documented in the Configuring OPS Clusters with ServiceGuard OPS Edition manual at:

Re: OPS installation query

Regarding "...How can i do this VG activation automatically when cluster starts..."

/etc/lvmrc

AUTO_VG_ACTIVATE=1
#vgchange -a y /dev/vg## (* Shouldn't be commented out *)

But I have this set to zero in my HP notes and the vgchange commented out.

And the /dev/async device and /dev/vg##/rlvols are owned by oracle:dba.
