ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel

Hola !

He cambiado shmmax de 2 a 8 Gb para levantar
m??s instancias de BD, con mayor SGA.
Me encuentro con que no se levanta absolutamente ninguna.
Volviendo a 2 Gb S??, pero con un SGA menor.

Valores actuales :
shmmax 2 Gb.
shmmni 200
shmseg 120

Your problem is with your oracle network setup.

The TNSLISTENER is configured incorrectly to launch an undesired program automatically when any connection attempt references a particular SID or Service_name.


tnsping is a utility provided by oracle for testing your oracle network configuration.

Sorry, don't speak (or read) Spanish, but ORA-3113 is what you get from an oracle front end (including sqlplus) when someone kills the back end (eg shutdown database).
Did someone shut the database down on you, or kill your server session ?

This error message indicate that your init.ora is configured to grab more semaphores than the OS has available.
