Oracle 10g installation error on HPUX

I'm installing Netweaver 2004s on HPUX 11.11

There is a problem in Oracle installation stage on HPUX.

Oracle prerequsite check:

I'm trying to install patchs above, but HPUX doesn't accept these patch.
Is there another way to solve this error?

(These fails occurs in all oracle installation conditions.Even if minumum component selection of Oracle.)

PHSS_32508 - patch for ANSI C++ compiler
PHSS_32509 - patch for ANSI C compiler
PHSS_32510 - patch for the ANSI C/C++/fortran optimizer
PHSS_32731 - patch for Serviceguard

So if you don't have the ANSI C, ANSI C++, or Fortran compiler, or Serviceguard installed on your system you can ignore these warnings and continue with the installation. I've done this myself and I can't remember the exact specifics of the Oracle Installer, but IIRC there is a check box you can tick to say ignore these errors.

Go to itrc.hp.com
patch database
hpux
Choose the patches and DEPENDENCIES.

Download the patch set and try the install again.

Also include the error you got last time you tried to install them.

It could be an Oracle problem.

Hi,

It's not fully clear why your computer does not accept the patches. If they are superseded, so you can install the SW, there is a possibility for that.

If HP_UX is not accepting to install the patches then it might be the Base product
is not installed (check installation logs for this).

Also as suggested by Duncan u can ignore it if
the patches r for ANSI C etc. if the base product is not installed.

I have installed it successfully by ignoring
the patch not installed warning (PHSS_32508: HP aC++ Compiler (A.03.63),
PHSS_32509: ANSI C compiler B.11.11.12 cumulative patch,PHSS_32510:+O4/PBO Compiler B.11.11.12 cumulative patch) because I was having aCC A.03.60.

I'd be in agreeance that the base product is not installed.

Have run into this problem myself whilst assisting a 10g install, and once confirmed that the componenets were not required the consultant continued with install.
