Oracle Application Server requires 1.58GB in /

We are trying an install of "Oracle Application Server Infrastructure 10g 10.1.4.0.1". During the install the space requirement for "/" went read as it was requiring 1.58GB.

Have you encountered this. I don't have 1.5 GB on "/".

did you give an unexists ORACLE_HOME in installation . perhaps ?

Build a filesystem for it, or install it into a filesystem with at least 3 GB of space.

Oracle lies constantly about actual disk space use. Make sure /tmp has 500 MB free or set the redirect variable indicated in the oracle documentation.

Looks like the DBAs missed supplying the "ORACLE_HOME".
