Oracle Barcode Font

I've installed a barcode true type font using instructions posted by Colin Topliss here

which seemed to work. As the font I've installed is visible when I do this.

xlsfonts | grep -i wasp

-altsys-wasp 128 h-medium-r-normal--0-0-0-0-p-0-hp-roman8

However it's simply not coming through in the oracle reports.

Any idea's where to start fixing this?
