oracle RAC

hi,

we are planning to deploy two node oracle real application cluster on hp ux, without using Hp MC/serviguard is it possible?

Hi sarfraz ,

100 % sure you can..... oracle installation cook book says you can use ASM as storage management. in this case you doesn't need HP service gaurd

Even if it can be done, I would like you to look at the advantages of using Oracle RAC with HP's SGeRAC

And you would need HP SGeRAC to have the full functionality with Oracle RAC.
