oracle RMAN error
Hi,
I am getting following RMAN error while trying hot backup for one of the database instance.DBAs claim that backup was running fine and problem started yesterday.There is no changes made to cell server/client.Job has not submitted to cell server and following error is thrown while initiating the backup.

RMAN-03015: error occurred in stored script backup_FULL
RMAN-03009: failure of allocate command on DB_TS_T1 channel at 07/31/2008 13:34:54
ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-27000: skgfqsbi: failed to initialize storage subsystem (SBT) layer
HP-UX Error: 2534: Unknown system error
Additional information: 7011
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
SBT error = 7011, errno = 2534, sbtopen: system error
Recovery Manager complete.

Check your tape drive which one you are using for DB backup. System can see that drive or not?
