PAM_LDAP issue
Hi all
Can someone help me in resolving following issue. The issue is this:
I am using PAM_LDAP and NSS_LDAP to authenticate through LDAP Server. I am able to connet to port 389 physically and LDAP Server is running. I am having an user account in LDAP and when i am trying to use the account info, i am getting an Error:
Dec 16 07:27:40 uxstats login: nss_ldap: could not search LDAP server - Referral
Dec 16 07:27:46 uxstats login[6168]: pam_ldap: ldap_search_s Referral
i searched internet and i found it is due to a condition where LDAP server is referring to another server. But in my case it is not. I also posted this to PAM_LDAP forum.
any ideas from you about Referrals in LDAP
Thanks
Vijay
