Partitions not responding for some applications

Dear All,
I have created a number of partitions, from some of the partitions we are able to access mounted structures, for example /home is doing fine.
While the other created structures have problem in accessing mounted structures, saying NFS pts885@/net not responding still trying.
Is there is a problem while creating the partitions.

I rebooted the machine and things are going fine now.
there was soem net directory in / directory which was creating some problem.

"nfs not responding still trying" is an old friend.

Search for patches .
