passwd -s -a

Greetings to all,

I am doing some password checking on the server with the command 'passwd -s -a' and i notice the following:

admin PS 05/15/06 0 90 14
silo PS

i'm looking to display the 'silo' password information as what has been showing in 'admin'... but it seems that in sam the setting for both password format is the same... anyone have any suggestion?

Thank in advance....

Re: passwd -s -a

Hi,
from your output it seems that the user 'silo' doesn't have the password aging info associated with (no expiration date and so on)

Shalom Yun,

Use sam to activate password aging on the account.
