PASSWORD PROBLEM IN TRUSTED SYSTEM

PASSWORD PROBLEM IN TRUSTED SYSTEM

I was trying to set a password that only had letters in it with the modprpw command I ran "modprpw -w root" and after that I havent been able to use the root account in trusted mode. Fortunately I managed to turn it back in to untrusted mode, but when I try to go in to trusted mode and convert the system it gives the same error. If i go into SAM and try to reset the password it says
"An invalid command syntax was used to invoke the command '/usr/lbin/modprpw'"

and it doesnt do anything and if I try using passwd or login in I get

"Password:
Sorry"

Re: PASSWORD PROBLEM IN TRUSTED SYSTEM

Is your password longer than 8 characters? If so, type in the first 8 characters when passwd asks you for it.
