Patch dependencies that point back to original patch

I'm trying to keep Java patches up to date. HPjconfig recommends PHCO_34275 which is superseded by PHCO_35743 whose patch dependencies are PHCO_24402 (already installed) and PHKL_31918 which is superseded by PHKL_34805 whose patch dependency is PHCO_35743 -- the supersedee of the original PHCO_34275.

1. Why this seeming circular supersede/dependency?

2. Does this mean that all I have to install is PHCO_35743?

Hi Brad:

Use the ITRC Patch database; select PHCO_35743 and its dependencies of PHCO_31923 and PHKL_34805. Download these and install them. It doesn't matter if any of these are present on your server; they will not be re-installed by default.

By using the Patch Database and allowing it to automatically add any/all dependencies, you should not have any installation issues.
