How to find out whether I have installed a superseded patch for a given patch number

Hi,

1. Go to HP Patch database and find the name of that patch with patch number:
http://www5.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/mainPage.do

PHNE_23456 --> s700_800 11.00 cumulative ARPA Transport patch

2. On your server run

swlist -l patch |grep -i "ARPA Transport"

PHNE_31247 1.0 cumulative ARPA Transport patch
