Patches for HPUX 11.23

Hi Experts,

I want to install the following patches on a rx4640 server. OS version is 11.23.

I am able to downloaded this patches in tgz format to /tmp/patch. Unzipped and extrated using tar -xvf.Created installation depot using the script provided with the download.

After this I started patch installation using swinstall. But it doesn't find a single patch in the depot.Gives a message the no compatible patches are found in the depot.

Did I miss anything in hurry? Or really is there any compatibility problem? Where can I get these patches for my system.

Please help me.

Maybe because they AREN'T for 11.23??

I looked at PHKL_25525 and it's for 11.00

where did you get this list of patches from? They are neither for HP-UX11.23 or for IA64 systems - there may in some cases be equivalent patches but these are never going to install on a 11.23/IA64 system

UNDER "step 1: Select hardware and OS" CHANGE OS LEVEL from 11.11 to 11.23

UNDER "step 2: How would you like to search?" CHANGE "Search by Keyword" to "Browse Patch List"

Then click on SEARCH

There are about 388 patches for 11.23

Can any one suggest System patches for installing Oracle 9i on HP-UX 11.23 IA64(itanium) System. Your inputs are very much valuable for me.

Check with your DBA, as Oracle lists the recommended patches and kernel parameters for 11.23.

You should have at least this bundle installed: http://www2.itrc.hp.com/service/patch/releasePage.do?BC=patch.breadcrumb.main|patch.breadcrumb.bundle|patch.breadcrumb.releaseIndexPage|&releaseId=0409-11.23

The B.11.23.0409.3 patch bundle is installed. But if some one can cann suggest the exact patches it will be great.
