That's still going to cover a rather broad set of components as you can see if you use a Patch Database search string of "NIS+".
I think you would be best to install a current Quality Pack (QPK). June 2005 is the most recent available and can be downloaded from the ITRC Patch Database.

SolutionThere are several other platforms that imply that if it's a patch, you should install it because it fixes a defect. This is fine for test systems or workstations, but for a production system, all change implies additional risk, which includes the possibility of adding additional defects.
As to your specific question, the itrc patch database is your best bet. It will tell you the latest patch as well as the recommended patch, along with the recommended dependencies.
