pbm to gif converter

Is there any program that convert pbm file to gif file on HP-UX 11.00, if there's any where can I download it.

So I can't just email you a copy. If you decide to use it personally you would need to pay like $25 (I think). It's better for you to download the source and compile it vs download a pre-compiled version.

There's two othe great packages that are not so hard to get on HP-UX: 'display' and ImageMagick. ImageMagick also comes with great interfaces and utilities. One of IM's utils is called 'convert'.

# convert pix.xpm pic.gif

is all it needs to convert xpm to gif. It supports pbm the same way:

my favorite is ppmtogif, a program from the netpbm package:

I attached the compiled binary (all HPUX versions).

I have to also recommend netpbm.

We use it to convert scanned tiff images to xwd for use on UX.
