PCI Hot Plug

Does anyone know how to use the PCI hot plug capability on and HP RP8400 running 11i? I have heard that there is a Hot Plug Utility that allows you to turn off and on the PCI card slots. Any information about this would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: PCI Hot Plug

Not sure, but i think this works only on HP Proliant, not on PA or IPF.
For Proliant, you can download the hot plug utility.

On your rp, i think that only disks/power are hot-plug.

Olivier.
They say "install windows 2k, xp or better", so i install unix !

Re: PCI Hot Plug

Thanks Gideon. It's amazing how finding the right piece of documentation can make all the difference in the world. I was able to add the PCI device to the RP8400 using SAM. Thanks again for the help.
