PCI NIC card is not shown in the SAM

I just purchased a PCI 10/100Base-TX/9000 from HP. I installed it on an HP B132L running HPUX 10.20. When I go into SAM I only see the on-board NIC card. The instructions say to install the software using the Source Depot. It says to highlight J4253AA (for servers) or B5509BA (for workstations) I did not recieve any software with the card. Does anyone know where I can get the software?

Thank you, Barbara Kingston

Re: PCI NIC card is not shown in the SAM

The network card software is almost always on Disk 1 of any Application Software Set.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Hi,

You have to install this software from the first Application CD. This will be on the CD set which you got from HP.

Barbara,

After you have loaded the LAN J4235AA sw. You may want to install the latest patch for it at the following link:

Re: PCI NIC card is not shown in the SAM

Hi Barbara

I'm experiencing the same situation. Did you fix the problem? If so, where did you get the software? If you already have it, would you please send me (jjlee@aidcorp.com) a copy?

Thanks in advance.
