PCI X.25 on Nclass Not enabling with NOKIA switch
Hello,
I've N4000 with PCI X.25 Card (J3525A). This is connected to NOKIA switch using V.35 cable (J3525-60103). All necessary softwares are installaled
J2793B 11.00.07 High Performance X.25 Link SW for HP9000
B1033B E.06.00 FTAM S/W
32070B C.09.02 OSI Trnspt & Srvcs for 9000/800
Problem: When this card is configured thru SAM this doesn't get enabled. How to ENABLE this card?
Action: Checked the DTE_84 state. Its OK. NOTE: We have one more K570 with HSC PSI X.25 card which is configured and is working fine. We have checked the parameters and all are OK.
IOSCAN is showing CLAIMED, INTERFACE with j3525 driver. This gets bound to card when the software J2793B is installed.
We have installed all patches (which are not part of GR bundle) for x.25.
Can anybody tell us what could be wrong.

Re: PCI X.25 on Nclass Not enabling with NOKIA switch
Hello,
I'd recommend following debug steps suggested in Chapter 8 of the X.25 Users Guide available from http://docs.hp.com -> Networking/Communications -> X.25 -> X.25 Users Guide. HP also supplies a handy script called x25info (I believe located in /usr/contrib/bin?) that might collect some relevant data should you need to open an HP support call. Beyond this, most X.25 confuration debugging includes capturing a nettl trace of the attempted x25start to enable the x25 link. IT Resouce Center document KBRC00001272 provides some tips for doing this, as does Chapter 7 of the X.25 Users Guide, entitled "Tracing and Logging Utilities".
Hope this helps,
