PCNFS and Windows 2000
I recently configure PCNFS to run on HPUX 10.2 and set up /etc/exports /home to be shared. I am running Windows services for Unix from a 2000 machine and everything works fine, but when I drag files from my share to my client it seems that it is transferring them in Binary mode. Has someone seen this before and if so, can you help.
Thank You,
Sean

Re: PCNFS and Windows 2000
I don't have this kind of setup...but maybe this suggestion will help. If you want to transfer files and be able to read them on your Windows....then try using ux2dos command on the file this will convert binary to dos. And of course the reverse dos2ux is true as well.
Check manpages for these...
Hope this helps,
