Peoplesoft 8.44 Errors on HPUX 11i

Problem is most prominent in journal processing, but that he has also gotten the error on the following:
- voucher, journal, and vendor add line
- save functions, including panel save

A common thread is that the flashing PROCESSING message is a the top of the screen when the user gets thrown back to the prior screen.

Could the kernal parameters below be my problem?
max_thread_proc 1024 Should be 4096?
maxswapchunks 512
maxssiz_64bit 8388608

Everything works fine in a test environment, it only dies in production... Help

You probably have issues with production because there are more users. Limits are being pressed.

compare kmtune output between non-working and working machines and increase production parameters as needed.

You may wish to take a look at performance data on the production machine to guide the process.
