Re: Perform System Health Check!!!
1. login as root
2.run the command dmesg and check for errors
3.check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for any errors or warnings
Hope this helps.

Re: Perform System Health Check!!!
Many admins have to maintain the system with the most condition of the system
so it need system health check frequently
If your system contracted with HP service,
you can ask to the result of the check, even depand on contract level.
Actually, HP service group is having very intelligent tools.
For examples, one of the tools is BAF (backand analyze flamework).
it can provide you with so much recommendations related with your system,
it gather all of the system's information
with excution file, which can collect several fields; hardware, patch, MC/SG etc
With the collected data, HP repesatatives analyze for the system health status.
In addition, they have a differant tools SHC
"system health check" that can check system configuration, performance and security status
good luck!

Because the test items related with OS, so if merely you going to check HW status
Just very basic Items there are
1. Offline/Online diagnosis
for HW stress test CPU and mem etc
2. Check OS patch related with HW devices
3. Check all of the components's firmware version.
and upto date
4. MP congiguration correct or not
5. check the configuration is done as like your intention.
