ping command

What does it mean when you ping a box and you get
the ip address of that box but at the end of the line
has ret=-1 ?

Thank you

Re: ping command

Hi,

- ...
regards,
Thierry.
All unix flavours are exactly the same . . . . . . . . . . for end users anyway.
