Could any body advise please on why the crash files still goes to /var/adm/crash

If you have made these changes to /etc/rc.config.d/savecrash and /sbin/init.d/savecrash, the way to run it is ..
# /sbin/init.d/savecrash start

Unfortunately I did run the Q4 before you answer under /var but it returns this:
