Re: Please Post Forums Issues - January 2005

I don't agree with Peter's suggestion about people being reminded to update/close threads after two weeks' inactivity. There are several people (me included, though I'm a recent convert) who believe threads should not be closed. At the moment it's left to the individual whether or not to close - it should stay that way.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - January 2005

Syam,

Thanks for that, the formatting errors were caused by the "=" at the end of the urls posted.. This error is exclusive to IE. The lab are aware of it and are working on getting the fix included in the next release,

Cheers,

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - January 2005

Hi Dan and Cheryl,

I'm not scanning these forum issues threads a lot, so maybe my wishes are duplicates...

Any RFC's planned for support for RSS feed?

Lately I have been using my Ipaq at home quite a lot with wireless LAN. The ITRC forums are too wide to be correctly displayed in a PDA screen. I have to use the stylus quite a lot to read all topics. Beside that I'm unable to post responses. ..I don't have the error message near me...

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - January 2005

I would like to see an additional option for looking at posts. Currently I can "view threads with solutions" or I can "view threads without a reply". What I would like to do is "view threads without solutions".

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - January 2005

Hi,

The forum is okay in usage, but I noticed
that on my other computer with IE the font size is very small. I have to zoom in with ctrl and the mouse wheel.

Maybe it is only a local problem on my pc. :-)

When you do a forum search, can the search results also have a colum for which forum the posint is in?

Thanks,
